Varied Line Space Plane Grating Monochromator (VLSPGM) Beamline

Beamline Description

Two cylindrical mirrors (M1 and M2) are located before the shielding wall. A spherical mirror and a varied line space plane grating (1000 gr/mm and 500 gr/mm) are employed with Hettrick and Underwood configuration covering the photon energy from 180 eV to 900 eV. Resolving power is ~5000 at Nitrogen K-edge. 

End Station

Ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) multi-purpose XAS end station equipped with load-lock sample transfer system. A total electron yield measurement is offered.
