CCELL, in conjunction with the LSU Community Engagement Advisory Council and the Office of Academic Affairs, is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the $1,000 Outstanding Service-Learning Faculty Award. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 28, at 4:30 p.m.
The Outstanding Service-Learning Faculty Award recognizes outstanding service-learning
contributions by full-time LSU faculty, including instructors. Nominees must demonstrate
exceptional and sustained commitment to integrating quality service-learning activities
in at least one academic course. Service-learning activities must exemplify best practices,
have significant community partner input and involvement, and be approved through
CCELL. Applications should demonstrate outcomes and community impact.
Nominations may be initiated by faculty members, department chairs/heads, deans/directors,
or community partners.
