Kids’ Day at the Museum
Wanted: Students who are problem solvers, explorers and hidden gem seekers—for a day of science fun at the LSU Museum of Natural Science.
The LSU Museum of Natural Science and LSU College of Science invite students in grades 4 through 6 to apply to LSU’s Kids' Day at the Museum.
Participants will meet new, like-minded friends, get a behind-the-scenes tour of the LSU Museum of Natural Science, learn from LSU College of Science student organizations through hands-on science activities, AND snack and chat with some of LSU's top scientists.
Don't worry parents, we've got some fun in store for you too! Parents and guardians
are welcomed to attend our Coaching Your Child Through STEM session that will feature
some of LSU's top educators and researchers who will give advice on how to foster
your child's STEM interests. Parents and guardians will also get a behind-the-scenes
tour of the LSU Museum of Natural Science and the chance to mingle with others whose
children also have STEM interests.
